Socienty of St. Vincent De Paul

Who We Are

Saint Mary of Angels Conference of Saint Vincent de Paul Society was founded in 1989. The Purpose of our society is to provide for the basic needs of the poor regardless of race, color, or creed.

The main purpose of our Thrift Store is to provide financial assistance to the truly needy of the White Mountain area. The Store provides affordable merchandise such as clothing, household items, small appliances, toys furniture, etc. The success of our Thrift store depends upon the donations by the members of the community and the selfless dedication of our volunteers.

We donate clothing, blankets, household items, furniture, etc. to families who are victims of fire and natural disasters or to those who cannot afford these basic items. When available, we offer, at no cost, medical equipment such as walkers, crutches and wheel chairs to those in need. Through the National Saint Vincent de Paul Society in St Louis, MO, we contribute to the victims of natural disasters throughout the world.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul adheres to a group of core values; these are principles central to our creed and ministry.

  • That Jesus is the Evangelizer and Servant of the poor
  • In the dignity of the human person
  • In the virtue of humility: personal and corporate
  • In the virtue of charity, inside and outside the Society
  • In Community
