Assistance Program

The purpose of our Assistance Program is to provide financial and non-monetary assistance to those in need of help residing in Navajo County. Qualifications for assistance is based strickly on need and is available to the handicapped, disabled, retired, unemployed and those living on a fixed income or below the poverty level.

We have a non discrimination policy and offer assistance regardless of race, creed color, national origin, or gender.

Financial assistance can be provided to help with payments of late or overdue bills of rent, mortgage, water, electric, natural gas, and/or propane. Assistance may also include help with medical prescriptions and gas vouchers to get to and from medical appointments and work.

Our Program offers non-monetary assistance in the form of beds, used furniture, appliances, linens, clothing, and food boxes. We also provide references for those seeking shelter.

As part of our Assistance Program, we offer selected medical devices to those in need ....usually free of charge. Our inventory of medical devices varies, but may include such items as: canes, walkers, crutches, toilet aids, etc.
